WE ARE IN COTONOU? The capital D.C. of Benin!
...We flew from Ouagadougou in 2 days and covered about 1000 km. We passed the 35 thousands, and we are only 2 thousand away from the world record... But in fact, we don't give a f.. about these things.. Like Pine d'Urus said it so well, we take our "foot", thet is all about this flight, enjoyment and a bit of adrenaline now and then to get very high and feel that life is real... ( "take your foot" means: having tremendous time!!).. ..Benin is also very relax and cool. I love these Burkinabes and Beninois .. They are the fun guys of West Africa. Burkina Faso is the Zimbabwe of West Africa, less the Falls and Mugabe.. ...Cotonou is a chaotic place but the guys here are really gentle and funny.. the girls are quite smilly, and the police never ask anything. ..We have real good time!
...We are planning crossing Nigeria on Saturday. (still waiting for the visa!!!) We will stop at Port Harcourt for a technical stop (fuel) and then continue the same day to Douala Cameroun. In case we disapear, you know the route and you know where to look for us... Nigeria is a bad place to go.. But we will make it!!
