Mike's Pilot Log: South to South Adventure

In the foothills of the Andes

The glider pilots who we met in America (the name of their airfield) a few days before arrived at the Youth Hostel in the morning and invited us out for the day. We had a great day … driving through the foothills of the Andes. The lakes and countryside are extremely beautiful. In winter with all the snow it must be spectacular.
