Considering the high temperatures, the air-conditioned
option was therefore not a luxury. We arrived in Palenque 3 days ago and chose one of the many medium range hotels along the main street. The name of the hotel sounded fun to me and somehow reminded me of something
I heard in France before. The real name was "Nikte-Ha" Hotel (pas une blague!..). The room number six was equipped with an air conditioning unit that made about the sound as one of our Rotax's idling, but the
temperature became acceptable to sleep in.
